Welcome!

A BIG welcome!

Something local artisans know is that there is a wealth of talent here in our village of Hudson.  There are twice yearly art shows by two different artist groups and a well established quilter's group.  But
what about everyone else?  There are ceramists, potters, knitters, sewers, rug hookers, paper artists (think hand made paper, collage, papier maché), photographers, wood workers and the list goes on.  We hope to hear from all of you with a passion for learning as well as those who want to share with us what they love to do.

Thanks to the tireless efforts of Carol Outram to make this happen (not easy!...lots of meeting with a lot of people) this group is starting to take shape.  Look for notices in the local papers for news about
what's happening (exciting things for Hudson's 150th anniversary this coming Summer of 2015) and
visit this blog often for visual stimulation and links to local artisans and resources to make your crafting endeavours happen.

We all have our specialties and if we don't know the answers to your questions we're sure someone will.

At present we have started to assemble at the Hudson Community Centre on Mondays from 12:00 until 4:00 and will have on hand demos and information on what we have in store for Hudson Fine Crafters.

SPECIAL NOTE:  Mark your calendars for the first Fine Craft Show to be held at the Hudson Community Centre "Atelier 394" on Friday, November 21 (Vernissage to be held from 6 until 9) and on Saturday, November 22 from 10 'til 4.

Send your questions to:  hudsonfinecraft@hotmail.com for more info AND send us photos of your work. We'd love to see what you do.
